Bicentennial 1976

We believe this mug was made to commemorate the 1976 Bicentennial.  As an American icon John Wayne appeared at many Bicentennial events and with his generous nature had these to give away.   This is another example of a striped handle mug.   This mug was given to Bob Schumer, Chief Financial Officer of Wayne’s production company Batjac.  Bob Schumer worked for John Wayne for many years.
